Schneider roller shutters: robust & service-friendly
When vehicles with swing doors are loaded on loading bay ramps, the driver first has to get out and open the doors and fix them in place. Only then can he dock the vehicle. But nobody in a warehouse works with satin gloves. Everything must be done quickly, as the next vehicle is waiting in line.
That is why Schneider developed the innovative DP25HR roller shutter for rough use in swapbodies. The sturdy shutter is approx. 25 kg lighter than conventional plywood roller shutters. It runs particularly quietly. The shutter is well suited to all kinds of dry freight transportation and satisfies the highest demands. For especially quiet operation we recommend a version with plastic covered rollers.
With its 25 mm thick extruded profiles, the roller shutter has a DB accreditation according to DIN EN 283. You can get the shutter with a choice of 1" (Type 561) or 2" (Type 562) rollers. It has been successfully tested in accordance with DIN EN 12642 XL (test force 8,100 dN). The durable design brilliantly withstands heavy loading pressure and high stresses.
Due to their design, roller shutters have moving parts that are subject to wear. On the robust DP25HR, the rollers can be changed without dismantling the shutter. This minimises the maintenance costs and downtimes. The low maintenance costs are also helped by the affordable prices of the spare parts and their compatibility with most of the standard competitor products in the market.
