Pre-assembled superstructures

for temperature-controlled transport

As from 2010, AluTeam is providing the vehicle construction industry with food-grade, preassembled superstructures for frozen (BR135) and chilled food (BR134) logistics. Each BR 135 construction is an enclosed, high quality insulated unit with a k-value of 0.384 W/m2K and has been successfully tested in the ATP category FRC.

The wall, roof, floor and door elements are made of CFC-free rigid foam with sturdy, coloured GRP top layers and gelcoat surfaces. The vapour diffusion-proof sandwich design without thermal bridges has a high thermal retention capacity. The energy required for cooling purposes is therefore relatively low.

The BR 134 boxes with thinner walls and an improved payload ratio are recommended for refrigerated vehicles. For both series we can offer you interesting options, such as side doors, load securing rails, integrated interior lights and floors with an anti-slip 2K-PU coating or with aluminium barley grain panelling.

Our well thought out lightweight designs for temperature-controlled transport are available with an external width of 1,950 to 2,600 mm and lengths of 3,000 to 5,600 mm. They offer you minimal assembly times and many useful functions.

The ATP accreditation for the 135 series saves you having to get individual approval. You only have to pay a small extra charge for the issue of the certificate.
