AluTeam Innovations

Standing still is a step backwards. What is important
about innovations is not whether they are very big,
such as our curtainsider kit with its many load
securing options, or small like our screw connection
AluScrew. What counts is the benefit!

AluTeam innovations undergo extensive stress tests
before they are ready for serial production.

If you move the mouse over

the terms in blue

you will get further information.

1999 Mounting  lugs on the roof and rear frame

The mounting lugs make handling easier and

help to improve work safety. The allocation of

the subassemblies is also speeded up in the

assembly process.

2000  AluWood®-Panels

The panels developed by AluTeam, made of

a wooden core with an aluminium top layer,

provide higher stability, a low curb weight and

many other benefits (see AluWood).

2000  Ready-coated kits

Conventional painting is a time-consuming process

for medium-sized vehicle constructors. We therefore

use our powder coating plant to supply ready-coated kits.

2001  Reusable pallets for kits

With our transport rack you can get to all the kit's

parts at once - and in the order that they are

needed for assembly.

2002  AluFoam® for 3.5 t gross weight trucks

For a low curb weight, AluTeam designed the

AluFoam® panel. With an insulated roof and

floor, it is the first choice for small distribution

vehicles and is built into the BR138.

2003  Integrated seals

Since 2003 the profiles on our kits have had interior

seals. That means it is no longer necessary

to seal them later apart from the corners.

2005  Standardised steel substructures

To improve efficiency in the vehicle construction,

the screwed system substructures are particularly

well suited. Thanks to the hot-dip galvanising, you

can keep your paint gun in the cupboard as well.

2006  Self-supporting floor assembly

Combining our self-supporting floor panel with the

special AluTeam side members saves considerable

weight compared to a conventional design. On a

3.5 t vehicle you will achieve a payload advantage

of approx. 110 kg.

2007  Rear swing doors with integral lock

AluTeam is the first kit manufacturer above the

3.5 t category to use doors with an integral lock.

The doors are now force-closed using the inte-

grated rotary bars. In addition, the whole door

panel is available for advertisement markings.

2008  AluScrew fastening

The new patent-pending screw connection,

AluScrew, optimises the central alignment of the

roof, side walls and front wall. As there is no need

for the usual reinforcement brackets, this makes

assembly even easier and reduces the time required.

2008  Curtainsider Kit

What makes the AluTeam curtainsider kits special

are the particularly short assembly times due to

the pre-assembled components as well as

the many load securing options.

2008  AluBoard - making the load secure

The AluBoard provides a form fit on the side

in the sliding tarpaulin design. It covers the pallet

as well as the lower part of the goods. Barrier

beams and lashing straps can be fastened in a

hole matrix. (more about AluBoard)

2009  Aluminium substructures

The aluminium substructures save up to 110 kg

compared to standard steel substructures. That

is an important sales argument especially with

weight-sensitive transporter chassis.

2010  Assembly kit without rear doors

With its patent-pending new design, the rear

frame is dissolved and assembled on the roof

and the side walls. You connect only front

wall, side walls and roof together. For kits

with doors, are these already attached.

2010 Pre-assembled sealing system for tail lift

For kits for vehicles with tail lift the seal is

assembled for the lifting platform. The liftgate

includes particularly tight seal with the

construction. Your advantage: You save the

costs of two hours of assembly time.

2010  Aluminium - side door frame

The new side door frame is now made of alu-

minium. You win a weight saving of approx.

12 kg and a maximum protection against

corrosion. The profiles are glued to the wall

elements, not bolted or riveted and sealed with

an integrated sealing to the panels.

2011 Lichtdach®

Our box body kits BR14x-2 now have a spezial

patent pending one-piece fiberglass roof. It has

a light-band in the center from the front to the

rear-end. Thus, unlike the conventional light fields,

gives a uniform illumination over the entire body.
